About the Role:
As a Technical Designer you will work on developing, detailing and executing construction solutions suited for digital fabrication. You will collaborate with architects and construction managers, using your technical skills to bridge design intent with CNC-powered prefabrication. You have technical skills necessary to design functional and elegant construction details and the experience in realizing these. You will deploy these on building projects which employ CNC manufacture and prefabrication, focusing on the design of structure and envelope. Qualifications encompass: a relevant graduate degree, minimum of 4 years in the AEC sector and advanced skills is Revit. Fluency in English is a must, Italian and/or German are a plus.

Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the architectural team to develop technical strategies, details and solutions supporting the project design intent.
– Document and develop technical solutions into shop drawings, material take-offs and construction documents using Autodesk Revit.
– Interface with fabricators to ensure design documentation is suitable for component fabrication and is compatible with CAD/CAM.

Skills:

Role summary:
