The construction of a shrine to the Peota fully above ground would significantly affect the enjoyment of the existing gardens of Veneria Reale. Instead, we have designed a partially buried, more discreet and respectful solution, which is also more suitable for the conservation of the Peota. The pavilion is actually located beneath the lake and the display case is fully submerged in water, a reference to the seventeenth-century temple of Diana, once placed in the center of a circular fountain of which today only the foundations remain. The glass walls are completely permeable to the eye. The observer on the edge of the pond sees the space, and the viewpoints on the edge of the lake, unchanged, allowing him/her to enjoy the reflection of the palace on the water.
